# 795, July 3, 1937, Ordinance of 1787 Sesquicentennial Issue: Commemorating the 150th anniversary of the adoption of the Ordinance of 1787 and the creation of the Northwest Territory. Depicted are Manasseh Cutler, Rufus Putnam, and a map of the Northwest Territory.

# 796, August 18, 1937, Virginia Dare Issue: Commemorating the 350th anniversary of the birth of Virginia Dare who was the first child born in America from English parents (August 18, 1587) and the settlement of Roanoke Island. Depicted are Virginia Dare with her parents.

# 797, August 26, 1937, Society of Philatelic Americans Issue: Type of National Parks Issue: Released in complement to the Society of Philatelic Americans. This Souvenir Sheet of 1 stamp was issued by the Treasury Department Bureau of Engraving and Printing under the authority of James Farley, Postmaster General at the time. These sheets were issued imperforate, with gum. Depicted is the Great Smoky Mountains stamp #749.
